species. Corporate sponsorship and corporate agendas control
the media, the government and our institutions of higher learning.
Advertising rules the news and corporate funding determines
research and policy. Concentration of corporate ownership, the
lobby system and the neoliberal doctrine of government deregulation
have left us all vulnerable to the whims and fancies of the
corporations that deliver us cheese doodles and diapers. But
what about the powerless? |

that matter to everyone: our global environment and our
collective social development.

seek to bear witness to issues and events around the world
to promote an alternative process of globalization; the
globalization of mutual understanding through awareness.
